About George Orwell

Eric Arthur Blair who was better known as Greg Orwell  was born Motihari, Bengal, India, in 1903. Orwell was an English novelist best known for ‘Animal Farm” which is the center point for our page.Created some of the sharpest satirical fiction of the 20th century with such works as Animal Farm, using animals based on actually historical figures to get his political views across to his viewers. Animal Farm is an allegory, or a story that represents something in real life. This novel represents the rise of Communism in the Soviet Union, along with that Orwell had a strong understanding and perspective of socialism, after analyzing his work Orwell totally ignored all the facts that he was truthfully writing about state capitalism. Orwell focus of his writings was to present and acknowledge the deep fears and truth behind socialism. Orwell silver lining of not just “Animal farm” but for all of his books was the political 20th century was the end of human freedom. Even before “Animal Farms”   publication in 1945, George Orwell’s novel was met with a lot of controversy. George Orwell in his critical writings shows imagination and taste with both edged and human. Few writers of any period have been able to use the English language so simply and accurately to say what they mean, and at the same time have meaning behind it. With taking stereotyped ideas and controversial is a huge reason why he had tremendous success. After writing 35 plus novels Orwell died in January 21, 1950,  in London, United Kingdom.
